ezra turns 4

Good Afternoon friends,

Yesterday my sweet boy Ezra turned 4 and my heart can’t take it! I can not believe how fast time goes by. I still remember the day he was born and I become a mother to this tiny, sweet little boy that stole my heart the moment I saw him. I don’t remember who I was before he arrived, he has taught me so much about motherhood and to have lots of PATIENCE lol I love this kid so much and I pray that he grows to love and serve Jesus Christ as much as we, his parents, do. I know God has big plans for my Ezra and I can’t wait to see those plans unfold.

For breakfast all he wanted was a Nutella sandwich.

best tacos

Good Morning friends,

This weekend after outreaching our city and helping our pastor friend in Little Rock  we ventured out to what my husband calls “the best tacos in the world” even better than The Valley!

Let me start by saying that were we live we don’t have many Mexican restaurants, at least not like how we are use to seeing in The Valley(Mcallen, Texas). If you have never been to The Valley your missing out on great, amazing food lol but thats besides the point. A couple months back we thought we found the perfect Mexican restaurant in South Little Rock which is about 30 min from our home, we ate there all the time. We took our friends that came to visit from Mcallen there and they even said it was delicious. Well turns out that, that restaurant BURNED DOWN. Andrea (pastors wife from Little Rock) and I were in shock when our husbands told us the news, we couldn’t believe it  for some reason lol but the husbands said not to worry because they found a diff little Mexican truck, called Taqueria Guadalupana, that has better tacos with amazing salsa. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint us. These tacos are truly amazing  and they compare so much to The Valley tacos and thats saying a lot lol. The tortillas are homemade and their red salsa is so yummy, not spicy but thats not a deal breaker because it has a great flavor. They even have authentic Coca-Colas which is a plus.

Since it is a Taco Truck they don’t have anywhere to sit and eat, but a lot people don’t mind because they eat in their cars which we wouldn’t mind either but we have our kids and they just can not eat in the car without making a big mess so we decided to take our food to a near by park, which my kids loved, and enjoy the beautiful weather and our food.

This Taco truck is by far the best we have found here in Arkansas so we will continue to go back whenever we have a chance..and if you come visit you bet we will take you here lol we actually ended up going back for more after finishing our first round!

25 week bumpdate

Hello Friends and welcome back to my blog!
So let me start off by saying I started writing this blog post 2 weeks ago and didn’t get to finish it because well for one I had to go to the hospital because one day I woke up with a horrible pain on my right hand side under my ribs turns out I had a Kidney Infection but they gave me a shot and some antibiotics and Thank God I’m doing so much better now and second because of LIFE lol.. so today meanwhile both boys are taking a wonderful nap (thank you Lord for naps) I decided to finish this post.
If you don’t know I’m currently a day shy from 26 weeks pregnant so I wanted to do a little bump update, and this is more for me(although, I hope you enjoy) because I’ve become such a forgetful person that I want to be able to look back and remember some details about this pregnancy.

I don’t know what it is but I feel like this pregnancy has been flying by! This is my first time taking a “legit” picture of my belly and with my other two I literally took at least one picture a week, since week 4 lol. My body is def. feeling it this time around, it may be because I have two toddlers constantly keeping me on my feet lol but I have had some painful backaches(not from my kidneys) so I’ve been seeing a Physical Therapist for that and its been getting better. If you could just keep me in yours prayers for that I would greatly appreciate it! but other than that I’ve been feeling great besides all the heartburn I’ve recently have been experiencing and it stinks because it makes it harder to fall asleep at night but I do it to myself because I eat spicy food allllll the time lol.

This week I definitely feel like I’ve been nesting, Ive been decluttering/organizing our house like crazy I just want to get rid of everything lol, But I finally got all of Leo’s baby clothes out and went through the items I want to keep for baby boy. Thats the perk of having the same gender you get to reuse all the cute clothes of their siblings. Ive also been slowly accumulating baby stuff I need or want.. really more like WANT lol

Baby boy is getting so big and I can feel him more now since he is the size of a cauliflower. His kicks have gotten stronger thats for sure. I can tell now that people notice I’m pregnant and not just fat lol. When I go to the store with just the kiddos and I, I always get strangers opening doors for me helping my with heavy objects into my car(waters) and I’m not gonna lie, I love it and always appreciate it so much!

Here are a couple of pictures of my big o belly

my testimony

fullsizerender

I look back at this picture and think to myself, who was I before Jesus Christ came in my life? I was a selfish, foolish, and bitter young teenager. I was sixteen years old in this picture and my husband was 17. We were young and in love<3 but when Jesus Christ found me I was so, so empty. Even though I had “everything” every young girl could want, a boyfriend to love me and he would buy me anything I asked for, I had both my parents at home, so i didn’t come from a broken home, I had friends I would party with, a sister that i could tell my secrets to, but deep down I always, some how, felt very alone and tried to commit suicided several times, one of those times I was with my husband driving to a mall and we got into a huge argument in which I thought he was going to leave me.. forever so I went crazy and tried to slit my wrist with a broken, sharp CD. A CD that didn’t even do anything lol it just made my husband see how lonely and dark I truly was. I can go on with my stories of how I use to be but at the age of 18 I gave all my heavy baggage to God and surrendered everything to him.

When I finally surrendered my life and heart to Jesus Christ thats when I felt whole! I no longer needed my husband(boyfriend at the time) to feel complete or anything in this world for that matter! I bowed my knees and accepted Jesus Christ in my life as my Lord and Savior. I am no longer a slave to sin, I am a child of God! I’ve been changed and given a new heart. I love my life and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

If your reading this I want you to know that there is HOPE in JESUS! There is power in the cross that is strong enough to save you. All you need to is surrender your heart to him! Thats all he’s asking for, your precious heart. He loves you dearly and has a purpose for your life! I use to think that Jesus Christ and church were for old people, like almost dying old people living their last days in church, but I was so wrong!  You don’t want to be old and barely giving God a chance when you could be living a joyous life right now. But nonetheless it is your choice  but I urge you to give your life to him and see how he can set your free from the chains that hold you down!

There for if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.-John 8:36 NKJV

with love,
